Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: Graduates of ISE programme will perform technical and administrative role in the verticals of problem solving, design, analysis, development, visualization and budgeting under information science domain.

 

PEO2: Graduated of ISE programme will enhance their professional expertise in quest for better career prospect through lifelong learning.

PEO3: Graduates of ISE programme will lead and collaborate amid team of diversified professionals with good communication skill and ethical values.

 

PEO4: Graduate of ISE programme will investigate computing problems and innovate sustainable solutions for the society using modern tools with global perspective and local relevance.

 

 

 

 

 

Program Outcomes (POs)

  • [PO1] Engineering Knowledge: Ability to apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Information Science and Engineering to solve complex engineering problems related to the design, development, testing and maintenance of computing and information systems.

  • [PO2] Problem Analysis: Ability to identify, formulate and analyze complex Information Science and Engineering problems in the areas of Computer Hardware, Software, Theoretical Computer Science, Theoretical Information Science, Networking, Data analysis and applications to reach significant conclusions by applying Mathematics, Natural sciences, Information Science and Engineering principles or laws.

  • [PO3] Design & Development of Solutions: Ability to design and build a system, component, process or a program for complex engineering problems by factoring in all the requirements and various design tradeoffs, with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental factors.

  • [PO4] Investigation of Complex Problem: Ability to use research based knowledge and research methods to perform literature survey, design experiments for complex problems, developing and maintaining a computing and information systems, collect data from the experimental outcome, analyze and interpret valid/interesting patterns and summarize the research findings.

  • [PO5] Modern Tool Usage: Ability to create, select and apply state of the art tools and techniques in designing, developing and testing a computing and information system or its component.

  • [PO6] Engineer and Society: Ability to assess the societal, health, cultural, safety and legal issues that might arise in the context of the professional practice in Information Science and Engineering, by applying the reasoning obtained based on the operational domain.

  • [PO7] Environment and Sustainability: Ability to demonstrate the knowledge of sustainable development of computing and information systems / products / solutions with an understanding of the impact of these solutions on the Society and Environment.

  • [PO8] Ethics: Ability to apply professional ethics and pledge to the norms / responsibilities in the engineering practice of Information Science and Engineering.

Laboratories & Research Laboratories

  1.  DS/ADA Lab: Enables  students to design & implement linear & non-linear data structure like stack, queue, list, trees, graph etc.  

  2.  EC/MP Lab: Enables students to design & implement combinatorial, sequential circuits, microproccessor, microcontroller based apllications.

  3.  FS/ST Lab: Enables students to design and implement primitive file operations, database applications & software engineering processes.

  4.  NW/WEB Lab: Enables students to design & implement basic LAN, simulate network protocols using programming languauges & simulators.
